Jarrow Formulas® Green Maté is an unfermented Yerba Maté 5:1 extract standardized to contain at least 20% caffeoylquinic acid, including 5% chlorogenic acids. Typical Yerba Maté undergoes a fermentation process that destroys the beneficial caffeoylquinic acid.
